Scuba Diving

Bayahibe, La Romana and nearby must-dive bacardi islands. Bayahibe scuba diving options exceed expectations and leave you pleasantly surprised, mixing the many local reefs with its paradise-like uninhabited islands and national park caverns.

With spectacular reefs populated with pristine coral and tropical fish, scuba diving the La Romana and Bayahibe coastline should be sufficient fun. Imagine adding two wreck dives to the mix: just across from our dive shop pier lies one, the impressive St- George submerged to promote new reef creation.

The country being a landing point for some of the first European ships to navigate to the Americas, diving in Bayahibe and its nearby islands will leave you feeling as though some undiscovered shipwreck lies hidden just out of sight.

Diving here lets you experience the country’s very best reefs and wrecks. Calm seas and great visibility – all year round – make our Bayahibe dive shop the perfect place to jump in!

All of our Charter excursions are Trolling. Trolling involves pulling lures or rigged dead bait behind the charter boat at different speeds depending on the species of fish targeted. Trolling is the main method for deep-sea fish species, boat is in constant motion, in order to cover more area and find better locations; in general, chances of catching a variety of fish are much bigger than with other techniques.
